  • Evolved Search came to Archer& in 2018 and had very little presence or authority among its competitors at that time.

    The leadership team wanted to build an exciting, disruptive agency brand that attracted their ideal clients, whilst also raising their profile as experts and establishing a compelling employer value proposition to attract and retain outstanding industry talent.

    Consistency across content, social media, PR and outbound lead gen campaigns was also paramount, as there'd been a disjointed approach to date that wasn't aligned with the agency's ambitions.

  • A consistent, strategic approach was at the heart of our work together over the 5 years we partnered.

    This covered content strategy, social media, lead gen campaigns, PR, awards and much more. Every single activity was centred around boosting the Evolved Search brand, highlighting their work, team, expertise and unique approach.

    I worked with senior people across the business, including the C-suite, senior leadership team and those within specific departments where Brand was of particular significance, such as People.

    The fundamental goal of my work was to build a high-performing and well-functioning Marketing department, which then resulted in full-time roles being introduced to the business to take over and meet the needs of the agency in the long term.

Agency Marketing for Show + Tell

Archer& Show + Tell

  • Yorkshire-based Show + Tell (formerly Impression Studio) is a creative, branding and development studio with an exciting portfolio of clients and big goals for the future.

    Founder & MD, Charlie Hartley, originally contacted Archer& for PR support regarding their acquisition of another agency in Norwich.

    After the successful delivery of this, with lots of relevant coverage, we started discussing his aims for the agency and their need to have agency-focused Marketing taken care of.

  • We kicked things off with a Strategy Mastermind session, where we refined personas, mapped out pillars to centre all of our activity around and created a plan of action via Asana, ensuring visibility and accountability for all parties.

    Our ongoing work then included:

    • Social media strategy, planning and delivery.

    • Agency content strategy, editing and management.

    • Award strategy and entry production.

    • Ongoing PR management: crafting stories, pitching to media, press office function and securing features.

  • We had the pleasure of collaborating with the Show + Tell team for just over a year, building a robust Marketing function within this time which was handed over to a new hire in Agency Marketing, which was an incredible step and happened a lot faster than Charlie had anticipated - much to our credit!

    • Over 30 pieces of relevant PR coverage, as well as interview features to position Charlie as an industry thought leader.

Archer& Climb & Conquer

  • Climb & Conquer is a remote-first SEO, PPC and Email Marketing agency, primarily based in the North East but with staff members across the UK. They're disruptive in their approach and, after starting initially as a freelance venture for founder, Shane Parkins, are enjoying exponential growth.

    I've worked with Shane in the past and when the time came to launch his agency, he reached out for help creating their Marketing & PR function. It's so refreshing to see an agency owner take this seriously from Day 1, rather than it being an afterthought.

Archer& Shoptimised

  • Shoptimised is a product feed management software tool developed by long-time PPC agency owners with one goal in mind: to increase online sales. They help agencies and retailers sell more online and have over 300 agency partners and 500+ retail users.

    Having known the founders from the agency scene in the North East, they reached out when launching Shoptimised to develop their PR, content, social and awards strategy and get things running from a brand perspective whilst the team was still small, to support business development goals and attracting talent.

  • Our work with Shoptimised began with a series of small workshop meetings with co-founder, John Cave, to establish the key messages of Shoptimised. We then developed a roadmap of activities across PR, social media, content and awards to support these key messages, including:

    • Content production for thought leadership and features.

    • Frequent business news.

    • Awards strategy and entry production to highlight Shoptimised as an outstanding software vendor in the agency space.

    • Social media strategy and consistency in output.

  • In just over a year, we helped Shoptimised achieve:

    • Growth in LinkedIn company page following (from zero!) to over 600, organically.
